Triple strand/3 ply macramé yarn made from 80% recycled cotton and 20% polyester. This strong macramé cord is ideal for knotting larger projects such as wall hangings hanging flower baskets net tote bags etc.

Macramé is an old technique where you use strong yarn or rope to tie different types of knots which then form different patterns. You can learn how to make some of these knots with our technique videos.

The activity requires almost no tools apart from the macramé rope/string although it helps to do your knotting projects on a special macramé board/clipboard.

At the end of a project the ends can be frayed and combed with a comb for a different look.
