Soy Wax For Freestanding Candles - Cream 250g
Produce 80–90% less soot than traditional candles. Melting temperature: 65–85 °C.
Add dye and/or fragrance for example. Drying time: 6–8 hours.
Curing time: 48 hours before use. Our soy wax makes it easy to cast free-standing candles into beautiful shapes.
Soy wax burns clean so it produces far less soot than traditional candles. You can easily dose the exact amount when casting as the wax is flaky.
If you want you can also add colour and scent to your candles. First melt the wax in a water bath (using a pan of water on the hob) or in a microwave at 80% strength at 30-second intervals.
Then mix in the fragrance and colour and stick a wick to the bottom of the jar using a little glue or liquid wax. For casting candles of 40 - 60 mm we recommend wick 73318.
Finally pour in the melted mixture.
